Default VS Key Cut and Programmed For VP

    Hey

Just wondering if it can be done and what i need

So basically get 2 VS keys (the ones with electric boot release as well, the 3 button style), and then get an electric boot release for the VP. What else would i need?

I know a locksmith that will cut it for me, But need to know if using remote boot, lock and unlock can work on it cause im sick of having the separate remote and want to get new ones made up anyway as i only have 1 key and remote...

    Thanks

    VKC

ahh.. Bummer.. Whys that, cause the VS uses a chip in the key and VP dont?

    Any way possible to bypass?

im sure the vs bcm could be wired up purely for central locking and boot release, so "shouldnt" need the contacts, but its not something ive looked at in any aspect.

You might best be asking Holden.. Or ringing a Car sparky.. Altho, I'd say its very possible.. but would cost you a bit to have done no doubt.

Would be a great thing to do none the less

Never got around to it.. As SL91 said, It is just too much effort and not something that is essential ATM.. I was going to do it if it was easy, But for now it is on the 'Maybe one day' list...
