dam speedo

hey all bought a vn spack v6 blew the motor and auto so we put a series 2 motor and 5 speed in it but now my speedo dosent work. its all pluged in we thought it might av been the dash so we put a bt1 dash in it still no go the motor had sat in another car for 2 years tho can any 1 help?

is it giving code 24 check fuses 10 and 12.
according to the book IM reading fuse 12 goes to the vss pink/blue wire, black white at vss is eath, violet /white goes to the speedo .
fuse 10 pink/black goes to the speedo . wire 437 brown yellow goes to a10 on ecu. if code 21,22,33or34 are up code 24 wont come up
