vn-vp starter motor differences PLEASE HELP ASAP THANKS
Hi there i did a starter motor on my vn series 1 motor its a v6 with a 5 speed manual attached to it.
Is there any difference between a starter motor off a v6 auto compared to a v6 starter motor off a manual.
Please let me know because i have one lined up but its from a vp auto for $40.

They aren't interchangeable, the manual starter motors don't have the pinion gear housing and IIRC have a different length shaft to the autos
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?
So the simple answer is no they wont fit ?
