it can be done but on the s1 motors the back of the crank is a different size so you will need an adaptor to run the manual flywheel

    Pretty sure u just need a S1 flywheel, they went from 4bolt to 6bolt between S1 n S2

Look for a manual S1 donor car

    Lol this thread is crazy

Theres only 2 threads you need to look at, both are very popular and have all correct info unlike some info posted in this thread
    V6 Crankshaft Info

    And the Most Important
The complete Vn-Vr Manual Conversion Guide.

i did V6 S1 conversion and it was painful and stupid and took ages (searching wreckers, ebay, etc.)...but i like it
as previous post mentioned lots of good info in crankshaft / conversion threads
    anyway -
    gearbox 350
    tailshaft 150
    pedal box 30
crank to flywheel adapter (CRS) 300
    cable, clutch and flywheel 50
    tantrums free
if you are patient you shouldn't have to pay ridiculous prices
for example quoted 250 for pedal box but ended up hunting wreckers until found one for 30
still can't find an original interior console manual insert for a reasonable price

S1 conversion is a pain, wait a bit and look around. I picked up a s1 motor and box (with 180k's on it) paid $450 for it. Been runnin it for 2 years no worries.

How is it anymore painfull then any other conversion? All all it needs is a adapter plate? Why go scaring this guy off when its that simple?
