Default SC14 crs kit help please !

    hey everyone
ive just installed a sc14 on my vn and the hose connecting the charger to the throttle body keeps coming off under boost.

ive put my bov on and the long hose is running to the front as the crs instructions states

ive capped off the valve at the throttle body that had a hose running to the rocket cover and ran the hose from the rocket cover to the inlet side of the blower - gold bit
    is that correct?

the hose that runs from the map sensor to the back behind the throttle body i have cut that in half put a t-piece and ran another line to the vaccum line on the bov

have i done all this correctly? something just feels wrong haha
    thanks in advance

If its the main silicon join from the supercharger to the Throttle body, just get some better clamps. Is it stock PSI still on the
Clutch Setup? it shouldnt be popping off with only 3psi even with stock clamps. Most likely the clamps are just
    rooted

The BOV goes between the Inlet side and outlet side of supercharger shouldnt be long hose its only
around 15cm each way with the BOV in between it there are pictures on here and google that will show you
    how it should be.

Your right with the T/B block the breather hose off with a bung like you have, and the hose from the inlet
side of the supercharger to the Rocker cover you should get rid of it because the boost will suck the oil into
the supercharger and back into your throttle body and you dont want that. Replace it with
Mini air filter Called a breather put it on the rocker cover where the hose went to there only $10-$15 at supercheap.
On the supercharger inlet where the Brass Connector is just put a bolt in it to block it off its not needed.

You should find another source of Vaccume hose dont touch that one to the map sensor, use the one off the elbow that the
Throttle body bolts onto there will be one at the back visable from the drivers side T into that one insted, also make sure its
not on the Fuel Pressure reg Vac Hose you dont want to put it on that one either.

    thanks for the quick reply

i changed the blow off valve to a new one last night and the hose doesnt seem to be popping off now. It has a cone on the top that the pressure seems to come out of but im not sure if im losing boost doing it like this?

Ive had a search around and cant seem to find what im looking for, i just want to make sure which line is the fuel regulator vaccum hose could u describe where it is or does any1 have a picture of what it looks like?

I will go grab one of those mini filiters now =)

Take some photos of the setup so we can make sure its all done right, its a straight forward setup,

The you tap into the Vacume line in between the throttle body and the inlet manifold (the thing that has 3800 on it),

But yeah take some pics and post them up.

okay ill chuck some pics on tommorow =)

i also recieved another map sensor and a 2 bar tune eprom. Im only running the stock pulley for the moment and im planning to run a 103mm one soon. I put the new map sensor in but the car barely runs with that so im running the stock map sensor and its running okay, just stalling sometimes when i change it into drive. im assuming its a 2 bar map sensor and i need to solder in the eprom for it to run correctly? will this eprom and map sensor make much difference with the stock pulley or the 103mm (5psi) one that i will be running?

i saw a vid of your car on youtube btw looks great =)

depends on the tune who did it, and injectors, for 5psi the stock injectors wont hold up, you will need atleast blue top injectors i had a 1bar tune with the 5psi pulley and blue tops and it was great made 154rwkw unintercooled. prob seen the vid on youtube.

I adjusted the idle screw on the throttle body abit so it didnt stall mine was manual so an auto would be worse when you put it into drive. just adjust it
up abit untill its good and wont stall.

Hey sorry on the late reply ive been busy with school =(

Heres a photo of the setup !

Everythings working great, getting lots of weird looks haha!
Capped off that gold bit on the air inlet side and put a breather on the rocket cover side like you said =)

Ive found the pulley on pulleybros im going to get to run 5 psi and along with bigger injectors, do you need a different size drive belt again? im running mine without the aircon.

    Thanks in advance

Edit: also has any1 investigated using a top mount intercooler with these? i dont think there would be enough clearance between the bonnet and the block but thought it be worth asking cause i cant run a front mount .. bit to obvious =)

I have a search around but would anyone be able to tell me how much difference a set of pacemaker extractors would make with this set up? Im thinking of going the 4 - 1 tuned length as i was told im losing a fair bit of power not having them..

update: i got rid of the pod modified my airbox ran a k&n panel filter and hooked the box up to the ss inductions =) seems to run well like this and the charger is probably a bit quieter!
