vp berlina break light problems

just was given a vp berlina but the brake lights dont work! Changed globes fuses and checked all connections still nothing. Any ideas?

Repair rear looms (about 20 cm long each is all) that have corroded earth connections between wire and metal cradle completely inaccessable due to plastic holder, requires drilling out, big pain in ass. Or get brand new ones from rare spares or electric life.

if its not that check the switch on the brake pedal i know they like to fall apart like mine did
