VP auto check engine light code23(?)

Hi all,

VP wgn 3.8 auto. CEL light staying on.

I have WinALDL and its showing 2 codes
code 13 O2
code 23 IAT/MAT low air temp. - 35c according to

O2 voltage is 4.6 ish and varying so at least seems to be working.
could be being triggered by the faulty MAT sensor which is stuck on -35c.?

Can someone point me to where the MAT sensor is?
Easy to change? Needs cleaning?

In a V6 the MAT is on the back of the manifold under the throttle elbow.

It's straightforward to change

You might ensure that it's not something silly like it being disconnected, a terminal connector backed out, corrosion or the wiring cut first though as a very cold temperature indication will result from an open circuit/high resistance.

It's terminals C12 (5V reference) and A11 (earth) at the ECM.
