Hey all, as some of you might know I have a VP wagon that I've been modifying and playing with lately. My brother has a double exhaust pipe sitting in his garage and I was wondering if it would be possible to put it on. I'm into the country scene and how loud your exhaust is is everything so I'm also wondering if the double exhaust would make it any louder.
Cheers,
Tim
Old cars, are they really worth all the problems and screw ups?.....yep!
To answer that properly I'll have to give a bit more detail. My brother has a V8 and so he has the two exhaust pipes on either side of his car. Each pipe branched off into two so he effectively had four pipes sticking out the back. He has since taken those off and is now running with single pipes and the double pipes are sitting on the ground doing nothing so I was considering taking one of them and throwing it on my car. Is it do-able?

I'm not trying to put a double exhaust in, just one of the pipes in place of my current one. I'm not game enough to screw around with moving fuel tanks or anything like that :S
EDIT: This picture shows what I'm talking about (albeit the exhaust on the other side of course)

Just the back bit you want to fit yes? from the diff to the back of the car? Yep if it was on a ute it will fit a wagon, The exhaust shop can chop yours off after the diff and weld and hang the double pipe. I don't expect it will be very loud though but you never know.
Yeah that's what I had in mind. I've got to get my mid and rear exhaust sections replaced soonish anyway so I'll see if they can throw it on then.

Just get twin dump pipes, looks tuff.
