VQ V8 Coil choice

Hi,
I am currently in the process of upgrading my VQ's electrical system and have already bought NGK semi-performance spark plugs, Top Gun Spark Leads 8mm performance, and am wondering if anyone can suggest a nice mild or high performance coil to suit. I was told by a mate that MSD coils are quite good. Any suggestions would be awesome. Please leave a reference to the brand, part number (if you know it) and a price.

P.S. Is it worth upgrading the distributor as well for more efficient sparking? If so please suggest replacement distributors as well. Thanks.

i got one of these for my 5ltr, i got that one cos the lowered car with stiff suspension, worked a treat too

I installed an MSD Blaster SS about 2 years ago after 2 or 3 standard coils died....No problems since then, couldn't be happier. Have a look at my album for coil location. Cost $120 from Autobarn, $20 more than a stockie.
