Sedan exhaust to make it fit a Ute?

G'day
I stuffed up a bit and got a 2.5inch cat back exhaust for my Ute but the exhaust is off a sedan!
So on both pieces of exhaust, it needs like a 80mm pipe welded in to make it longer, to fit and I’m just wondering if anyone has had this done and dose it work?

if you feel comfortable getting someone to do it or doing it yourself then go ahead. I re made my exhaust from the dif flange back to remove the flex, the factory dent and the rear resi if you have a welder its easy or get a zorst place to do it.


or just sell the sedan exhaust and buy a ute 1

the diffrence between them is the tail pipes i would just cut it of at the diff and put a dump pipe on it other wise u need to get a tail pipe made for it

yeah thats what i reakon im going to have to do, just have it dump it before the diff probs would sound better too.

or yeah the other option is to sell it and get a ute one, or swap it for a ute exhaust.
