1998 vs statesman v6, 80l Fuel Tank into VN V6 with standard tank

Hey guys
I have done a search on this but I am getting more confused..
I have just got a 1998 VS Statesman v6 80L tank c/w pump to replace my standard tank..
I am aware that one straps is different but I have that in hand...
What I am confused about is the hooking up of the wires and Fuel pump hoses as I believe they are different...

do u have the Loom and Filler neck from the stato? i got my tank in today with the Loom and filler neck from the stato..

No filler neck as such, just the neck out of the tank about 100mm Long......The sender has a plug with 4 wires coming out, dont think My Vn has that many wires

u should have 2x black a violet and a tan wire under the vn 2x plugs (violet and black) and a (tan and black). on the stato plug there is a (black and white and a violet and white) thats the fuel pump line. and a tan and a black that is the fuel level sensor. (u cut the fuel pump line and connect the violet with the violet and white and the black with the black and white) (and than cut the fuel level sensor line and put tan with tan and black with black thats all i did but i hade the filler neck u could pick u 1 from the wreckers just makes it easier.

i cut tham 2 plugs off and reconnected the plug from the stato sorry 4 the late reply
