    Question Pre Long trip checklist

I am planning on doing a long trip soon with a full load in the wagon. Is there anything I should get checked before going besides brakes and tyres? I want a safe trip.

Yeah I was planning on doing an oil change before I go as that is easy enough to do myself. I check all my fluids once a week.

Perhaps a wheel alignment/balance before your trip.

    Also:

Check ALL fluids/oil levels - transmission, engine, brakes, coolant, wiper detergent stuff.

Make sure all of your lights, indicators work etc.

Ensure your tyres have the correct pressures.

Check the other obvious things - make sure none of your hoses look sus.

Make sure your spare wheel/tyre is actually in the car and is ready for use, along with the jack etc that you'll need to put it on.

Belt up and enjoy your trip!

Wiper fluid reservoir- make sure it's got cleaner in it and not just water!
    Check your battery and coolant.
    Clea you glass.
    Tyre pressures

Spare Globes, Belts and Hoses. A 2 Lt Bottle of water in the boot.

Check before you leave- indicators, wipers, horn, lights, hazards

Most importantly get some sleep before you leave and stop when you feeltired. Keep upyour fluids but don't over eat- you'll get tired easily.

Satellite Phone - GPS - Flare Kit - Emergency Poncho's. Inflatable Raft. Skateboards.

Haha, nah check your oil and coolant and lines. If your not going too far off the beaten track then don't fret too much. Pumped up spare, know how to use your jack. viola.. Done.
