Default About jump start on VP

On the manual it says put + lead on battery but - on any metal part on engine,
whats the difference by put straight on battery?
    the
    - teminal on battery is connect to the groud
some people said it might be break the computer
but it doesnt make sense just by negative to the engine
because they all connect to the computer

Put the - last on and first off, and yep, to the metal of the engine right away from the battery.
This is so you don't make a spark right next to the battery and may blow it and yourself up if any hydrogen gas is fizzing out of the battery.

Neg lead onto motor puts the earth closer to the starter, giving more start power, that's all.
