    Default Can i put a VS ute Manual transmission into a Auto VP?

    Hi i can get a manual transmission with 150000kms from local wrecker for $600
    it will include whole conversion kit from a auto to manual
    has any one done it before? would a VS ute tranny fit a VP sedan?
    Any modify i need to do for the car to fit cluth etc?

    Yes you can but there will be fiddling around to get the clutch to fit. IIRC VS = hydraulic clutch where as earlier ones were cable.

    Find out if it has a T5 or a getrag, T5 = easy. A T5 will be a direct conversion, no mods pretty much.
