Power Window Module Bypass?

Is it possible to bypass the VN power window module so that the everything still works except the auto down?

I'm pretty sure mine is shagged. I can use three windows no dramas but with my driver's side front, when I wind it the module makes a bong noise. Technical terms I know! I've opened the box to take a look and everything looks ok however the second winding thing bounces and makes the noise when the window is used.

In the picture it's not the circled one but the one next to it that is the problem- yes it's commodorenut's photo.



I have tried contact cleaner but this stuff goes over my head. Can it be repaired or does it need to be replaced? Failing that, can it easily be bypassed?

yes it can be done through the ignition so it only works with ignition on and no auto down

How do you do that? Is it just a matter of jumping the pins?

turn it over and look at the copper tracks and look for broken solder joints especially around the relays
