Air con switch and thermo fan

Alrighty, I need someone to help me clarify something.

I know the thermo fan comes on when the A/C button is pressed.
Does the air con system need to be pressurized for the thermo fan to run? I know it turns off if the pressure is below a certain limit and the speed is above 55km or so...but what about just idling?

Looks like that's right, A/C pressure switch is in there, had a look at the wiring diagram...can close thread.
