Hey guys just wondering im building a VH commodore with a series one V6 engine and box in her and it making this strange whistle,scraping tinny sound from what i think is from the back of the engine when revved.
It seems to come around when the rev peaks and i have looked on the net to try and find out an answer to it and seem to think it could be the balance shaft bearing. Does anyone know what the noise is and what i can do to fix or bandaid the problem, i have added a short video wnd the sound comes in about 15 seconds into the vid, you should hear it when you see the throttle body shot cheers
