indicator hazzard light problem please help

hi guys this morn when i was drivin 2 work i had my rear window defog thingo on, and i indicated to turn and my hazzard lights come on. i turned the defog off and no problems. tonight i went for a drive and now my hazzard lights turn on when i indicate left or right, so you can see my problem with that i have checked the following
-fues
-hazzard light switch wire connection
-indicator switch and connection

i was hoping it was as easy as just disconecting the hazzard light switch and that will be it but nope that kills all turning signals

try an other indercator stalk if not check the wires that plug in to the stalk
