VP V6 running rich

Hi guys,
I am running a vp v6 motor in my hilux and it is running super rich.
I swapped the ecu to a stage 3 chipped one when the old one shat itself (they don't really like water), but don't think it affected it that much. What should i be looking at replacing? Running a series 1 coil pack which i am assuming wont be helping things so will change that and have also been told to have a look at the afm? Think I'll have to change the plugs as well cause it's missing heaps under load so guessing they've fouled up.
Unfortunately I don't get to drive it that much because I live in cairns most of the year but come back to NZ for two to three weeks at a time a few times a year, which is really the only time it gets used, although my mate does start the engine and take it for a spin every few weeks, so stuff might have corroded.
Is there anything else I should be looking at?

if its missfireing under load i would check your coil packs and see if ones almost gone i would also check your leads, and if it doesnt get driven maybe check the petrol aswell

Gone through a couple of tanks of petrol now in under a week (ouch when it's $2.25/l for 95), leads were new at the start of the year. Will definitely be getting a series 2 coilpack first thing in the morning

also check your map sensor this would cause it to run rich

Bought a new coil pack, map sensor, tps and iac valve off ebay so just waiting for them to show up. Was cheaper than buying it second hand here.

do you have a check engine light wired up its probably spitting error codes possibly for O2 sensor if it doesnt have one as most of the dodgy ebay tuners that sell stage 3 chips dont know we didnt get them till very late in the vp production will run pig rich

Yeah got a check engine light hooked up, but turns off after the engine starts so no probs there.
Bought the stage 3 off trademe so would assume it would be for NZ?

my vp was drinking petrol, put a fresh o2 sensor on and no joke fuel got better buy 30% +
