don't use castlemaines engine mounts, talk to steve at Mkal automotive, they are the bomb, i think velocity auto have some tough mounts to suit now too. also set aside a large wad of cash, it is not a cheap exercise, even if you have a donor car...

I can't remember seeing many/if any on here. Anything is possible given enough money though from my quick pricing when a mate was considering the same conversion it worked out only very slightly cheaper then buying something that had an LS1 from factory.

That aside, go for it if you really want to. Power to weight would be killer.

Probably the same thing that's wrong with a lot of their other stuff, it's a close fit, but not quite close enough.

yep, engine mounts are not a good fit and don't provide enough height from the k-frame, you have a look at sams lexxxcen and you will see the quality of their headers too.

yeah i heard alot of there stuff went down hill when it changed hands or something. i needed a fly wheel from them a while ago and they just didnt get back to me. from what ive looked at its going to be about 10k, wich doesnt seem overly worth it to me. but it would be insane, the power to weight would be wicked. cheers for the feed back tho. the next option was a 5.0 with a decent cam or something.
