When it happens pour some water over your CAS, usually that will get you started again (unless its completely stuffed lol)

    But I'd say cas aswell

the old water trick aint likely to work all the time sometimes it worked on my old wagon sometimes it wouldnt. Easier just to replace sensor and no more worries

I second bwenny, i had the exact same problem, i replaced the C.A.S but it still didn't fix it, as soon as i changed the coil, no more problems.

Both items could probably do with a change anyways

Left field long shot here, but is it possible the anti-theft (if fitted), is causing this? The time periods for the fault seem to be far too regular, for it to be an intermittent or random fault.

with a vp the anti theft only effects the fuel pump. the dash should blink press remote. if it dosent maybe the globe is blown. if you think this is the problem all you have to do is listen for the fuel pump when you turn to key into the reds. otherwise its the CAS.
