VQ Cruise control problem

hey guys i have a vq stateo v8 and the cruise has stopped working on it checked the fuse and nothing the on light comes on just when i hit set and that it does nothing just wondering what could be doing it

could be cable come off throttle body or the unit

Happens sometimes that the cruise stops working, then starts again. Check the linkage on the throttle body and the cable as well sometimes they get stuck. Also check the module and the connections are done up properly. New modules aren't that expensive

we dont know y it stared working again when we replaced the brake booster and cylinder and the wire looms at the brake lights thanks for the input guys
