(HELP) VN V8 not starting

hi i just pulled motor n box out of my vn calais V8 to clean pick up and clean engine now its back in and it wont turn over any ideas fuel primes up but when i go to start it the (!) light on the dash comes on and starter does not operate at all any ideas

earths plural there is more than one did you attach the starter loom properly and all wires to it? battery has charge?

yeah earths done starter has the 2 wires connected and tight and battery is good full of charge

i had the same prob once wen i did a changeover ,it was the gear selector module (little plastic thing that connects to the shifter and tells the computer wat gear ya in )any way it had cum loose and was set in first had me f@3d for ages!!

also when ya go to start it the LP.CHECK and START relay both click

double check that the starter has all the wires hooked up.. Mainly the one that trows the pin... (small wire)

tried starting in every gear but did you check to see if that plug came loose?

all fixed now thanks everyone i pulled all the wiring plugs off and cleaned them then it started so thanks

Which wires did you clean? my vn is doing the same thing fuel pressures up starter motor wont crank and fuse clicks. all other power working though lights stereo what not.

thats dedication taking an engine out to clean it and drop it back in lol
