Hi there I am new to this site. I am having problems with my Commodore motor which we fitted an SC14 Toyota supercharger to which is in our off roader. Here is a video of its first start up
YouTube - Holden Commodore SC14 Super Charger
The problem that I think I am having it is either starving for fuel or air. You can see what I mean on this video if you skip it to 4:45 YouTube - Superwinch Tuff Truck Winch Challenge 2011
When we accelerated you can see on the video that the motor was loosing power and when it came out of the hole it picked up and then took off. It runs standard injectors and ECU, I don't know what boost it is running yet, but I have just purchased a gauge to see what it is.
The kit came with a BOV which releases the access air.
That is what you can here hissing in the videos. I have been told that the BOV is inconsistent and our boost pressure would always be changing. This kind of stuff it all new to be to I am probably sounding like an idiot. The blower has a small pulley which I have also been told to put a larger pulley on it and that at the moment the motor would be running very lean. Its is hard to explain but what I need is to try and solve the problem as I need reliability. It also has no intercooler. Hope someone can make sense of this and some advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers
