blown head gasket...
dont sweat the petty... pet the sweaty...
is it a big job compared to a stright 6 ? ive done a ford EL before would it be easier or harder?
is it using coolant - getting hot?? Milky oil?
White 05 V6 VZ Executive - Thrashed Ex Telstra car
and 3 Dangerous non ABS VN's
nar doesnt use coolant doesnt get hot we changed the oil yesterday and it was fine just really black
how else would you get water coming out the exhaust? im confused
dont sweat the petty... pet the sweaty...
so what would the white smoke be from, burning oil? could it be contaminated fuel?
dont sweat the petty... pet the sweaty...
yeah mate its some sort of oil problem. check clylinders for scoring marks, piston rings, vavles. sort of a big job.
Are you sure its not just the cold weather exhaust lol?
hahah dont worry mate im thinking the sameVK SL 3800

try using thicker oil
all cars will do this, look at even a new car and it will look like this when cold.
You need the catalytic converter to be hot for it to do it's job. while it's cold it's not 'converting' properly.
Rolling in a 5.0
so people are saying
blown heady, leaking oil or just condensation
this is so confusing! after it warms up it goes away into a very light mist but once you rev it, it will spurt out water and then a big puff of white smoke and then it goes away to a barely visible mist
if that helps at all
alright good!
so i have nothing to be worried about i thought i full had a blown head gasket ive put a video on youtube maybe this will help, it was running for around 15mins and this was still happening the cat conveter was hot
YouTube - Vn running
also i will add, it has a miss in it under load
It looks like cold weather smoke, in cold weather you can pot around in a car for ages without it properly warming up, i had my laser running for about an hour and it was still smokey like that even though the engine was hot enough for the fan to kick in. just reving it and idling for 15 mins wont really get the exhaust as hot as driving.
Inlet manifold gasket...

it doesnt use coolant, i was thinking of dropping out the coolant and just putting plain water in it, and seeing if it burning coolant, ive been told thats white smoke.
inlet manifold gasket, is that the deferent cause?
inlet manifold gasket leaks and allows coolant to leak either externally, internally. internally can got into the intake ports or into the oil galleries. But if it not using coolant im sticking to cold smoke.
Can somebody please show me a picture where it is because my dad keeps saying its the extractors
