Vq statesmen problem

I got a 1990 statesmen, it starts fine and drives for about 10-15 min and then it dies, then after about another 10 min it will start again but then it warms up and dies again, what could be the problem? I was thinking it might be cas

pretty sure one way to check the cas is when the car shuts down pour cold water on where the cas (harmonic balancer) is and if the car starts up you need a new one....

where is the cas on the vq statesmen, i cant seen any sensor behind h/b

if its a v8 it will be the ignition module located on the passanger side guard.
