new engine help
hey guys iam getting a new engine with 120 thous on it and my dash say 350 thous is their a way i can chage it so its the same as the motor or do i have to just keep it like that coz its pretty stupid .... ps legal aswell ...

I think you will find it is very illegal to wind back the Km's, The idea is not to reflect the km's on the motor but the overall km's travelled by the car itself. If you have receipt of new motor then who cares about what the dash says?

I believe RTA record km's each time you go for a pink slip, so best to stick with original ks in any instance, whether you change it or not.

just buy another cluster with low km's, the only thing on my vp cluster that worked was the rpm gauge. i managed to find one whacked up the ass at the wreckers fresh off the forklift with 140 JACKPOT! the car has 300 + estimated

Why not ? Its just a cluster, Mine's been through 3 of them because they kept shitting them selfes, First one didnt have a tacho and the fuel / temp died.
2nd one worked for a while then the tacho / trip counter died.
3rd is still in and working well
