hey everybody, whats the best way to increase fuel efficiency in a buick? they suck arse on peddy

atm im an l's driver, but when i get my p's ill drive it like a granny and some times boot it and do a few skids and shit, but most of the time i will drive it like a granny

would it be better to sell it and then buy a vs?

I actually prefer the VP over the VS I own both and would rather drive the VP.

So what sort of mileage do you get? How much fuel is it using?

What economy are you getting? I used to get 11.5L/100 for a good mix of heavy traffic and open roads from my old buick. I dont know why you would expect any better than that from a 20 year old V6

It could always be worse... I have the VS SS engine in my 4runner and im getting 25 L/100, and on the sand its about 1 litre per K....

Worn out engines get rotten economy. If it's all fumy and got worn rings then your flogging a dead horse. End of story.
My old HJ with 202 on gas went from 12.5 mpg with the old motor to 16.5 mpg with the new one. That's almost 1/3 more distance for the same fuel.
