What do you mean by sticks? If it sticks it shouldnt slip but what your saying sounds like its slipping. Is snap gears changing gears fast?

Granted you shouldnt be doing this all the time it still shouldnt be slipping with a brand new clutch.

I remember a method for testing the clucth, somthing about 4th gear, slowly let it out while stoped and if it dosent stall its ####ed! But I cant remember completly. Other then that the pressureplate might not be putting out enough clamping force to hold the clutch down.

This is a stock V8 right?

With the cranking, wiggle you battery terminals. Always works for me
