Grrrrr Faulty New Inner Rack End installed !!! Warning

What a pain a week ago I installed 2 new inner rack ends and tie rod ends. Then I got a wheel alignment. Only to find there was still a weird steering feeling remaining..

I couldnt figure it out because I had replaced all the bushes in the front and thought I must have fixed it when I found one of the old tie rod inners had about 2mm play in it.

Anyway the problem still existed after so I went under the car tonight and checked all my work again to make sure I hadnt missed something only to find my brand new inner rack end had 2-3mm play !!!!

Anyway so a warning for others I recommend checking new items a week later to make sure they aren't faulty new parts.

Its really annoying in my case as the part was only $25 but there is a fair amount of work and organisation not to mention a new wheel alignment to get the damn thing replaced !!!
