hi guys...
iv got a 1991 vn on gas. i gave it a service the other day as i have only just got the car off my parents.. now it would idle normal then it would rev up n then nearly stall a couple of times and then it goes normal again. on petrol and gas. also when the car is cold it starts straight away but when its warm it struggles big time to start..
any ideas would be great!

What plugs did you put in it?
Could be worth checking any vacum lines as this can cause a car to hunt at idle. Not sure that it would have much to do with the car being hard to start when it is warm
it was doing it before the service but i did notice when i reset the computer it was running better but it has gone back to the way it was.. ngk plugs and the right ones for gas
i just had a thought.. the crank angle sensor could be causing it? im pretty sure the cas should not move but my one does..
Sounds like your idle air controller could be having a hissy. Buy one, keep the receipt, install it, see if the problem solves itself... if not, clean her up and take it back with the receipt. "Nah mate, I found the problem before I had to use it"![]()

well thanks guys but the motor died on me yesterday.. started making this bad sound n i took it to the mechanic n 1 hour later and the motor is stuffed. sounds like the oil pump coz i was driving n felt like i lost a couple of cylinders then the oil light came on but the more revs in gear it got the light went away so i stopped but its now like the motor is trying to seize. so its stuffed.any ideas on why this would of happened?
Oh no hope you can find a cheap motor for the car..
