hey guys im in the middle of doin a setup with 330mm rotors and vt calipers to put onto my vn coz the kits u can buy r like 800-1600 and i reckon i can do it only using a bracket which im making atm if it works out would anyone be interested in it if its alot cheaper than all this other shit u can buy and let me kno asap coz im serious on doin this to prove my boss wrong on it all
do you have to change the master cylnder as well?
i will be changing mine to a 1inch master which u can pick up pretty cheap but what i want to achieve is do it all using minimal adapter shit and make it a nice cheap upgrade
interested. pm me some pics and a price when you get it sorted...
Hmmmm....making your own non-engineered and non-tested brake cailper brackets.....then selling them.....
it will be a while off just yet but as i work in a fabrication shop i will be making dummy mounts then getting some lazer cut and doing it all properly aswell as looking into getting them engineered i have done alot of home work and talking with our machinest and he reckons im on the ball with all my measurments and requirements for the mounts
I may be interested in some rear spacers for 315mm rotors if you got some proof that they would be safe and reliable if you know what I mean.
VT V6 fitted with DMS gold 40mm coilovers, Whiteline adjustable swaybars & strut brace, 330mm AP racing brakes, Rebuilt 3.45:1 LSD and a Powerdyne supercharger

sorry as yet i wont be doing anything with the rear end as there are issues there i would like to sort out before i try a set up on the rear im doing this as a personal project and if it works i will be getting it done properly by an engineer so its safe and may sell them on a larger scale
wondering if it be possible to machine the disks off the hubs so we could just slip hats on at all anyone tried that im keen to if u get a setup i have the vt calipers and inch mastercylinder just wanting hubs but they 800 here
Yeah but it's just a bit of laser cut steel. Well I have genuine Group A calipers and that's all HSV supplied back in VN days. Just for every bodies interest - check out a set of PBR heavy duty calipers from a 1989 Corvette from USA. Very cheap and you can buy them new
Reaper
I'm not against it personally, as I have manufactured many a part to make something fit, but what will happen if a bracket that this guy has supplied breaks? I'm just saying there's more to just cutting a bit of steel and selling it when it comes to vehicle modifications and upgrades. The red tape is harder to cut through than the steel most times.
hey guys unfortunately im giving up on doin the brakes as some mongrel #### broke into my shed and knocked all my shit while i was away and dont have the cash or time to replace all my shit
