    Default help! with cams

    hey i am looking to put a stage 3 cam shaft in my vn it a v6 s1 5speed with extractors , 70mm t/b on gas and petrol just wodering if its worth it and wat brand should i get and if i should get double chain timing chain?
    any help apprieciated

    I had a Stage 3 Crow Cam in mine; Get your heads ported and polished if you go down this avenue.
    I had a single row timing chain, if it wears, then upgrade to a double.
    You might want to look into upgrading the pushrod's too
    Mine was quite lumpy.

    Im lookingto do the same thing, what sorta price are we looking at for a stage three cam and also do you have to get the computer retuned?

    the most common computer upgrade for these is the kalmaker because it can be plugged into a computer. mace engineering do a cam and chip package wich will be soo much cheaper, a kalmaker , supply, fitted is 2k.
