Hey guys, im currently pulling apart my VN Ser 1 V6 and during the process of trying to remove water hoses it seems one of the "nozzles" attaching to the water pump snapped off, im not sure what to do about this as im not quite sure if it is part of the block or just a plate that attaches to the front and if so can i replace it? any help would be great!
Photo uploaded so you can see what i mean.
That pump is frucked, go to repco and get a new one they are about 90bux, you find your car will stay heaps cooler.
There is no such thing as stupid questions, Only stupid people.
Yeah im getting a new one and a new harmonic balencer, the motor is in need ofsome serious TLC. but the part that has broken off is that part of a plate that bolts on coveringthe timing chain and crank?
timing cover, you need a new one no way to fix that unless a bull bar place will weld it on for you
or you can pay big dollars for a new one 300 to 600 dollars
Go grab a timing cover off a car at the wreckers for $20
