Definately been done before, Its really not any more work than a ecotec conversion. I'd imagine using a ecotec harness would be the way to go, atleast then you wouldnt have to worry about custom tunes etc. T5 definately bolts up just need new (mirror balanced) flywheel and clutch to suit.

Can get a complete L67 ready to bolt in for $2500 if you look on ebay.

you use the original wirring harness, and run it off an aftermarket replacement computer called a kalmaker so you can plug it into a laptop ( this alone is 2k suplied and fitted), the reason we use the vp harness and computer is because the vs - vy use a diffrent voltage or something to the vn vp sensor's. so you use the vp sensors in the L67. the 8 bolt fly wheels bolts straight up and i havent heard of them being off balance.

Or instead of spending $2k on a kalmaker, Get in contact with greenfoam and have it done for under a $100..... I know what I would be doing lol

Anyone with a EPROM programmer can do a new tune. Also FYI Ecotec and L67 run different flywheel balances.
