Wow VR/VS clubby kit. Don't see them too often on VN's. Get rid of that pod it's doing you no favours and might be a defect. Price is expensive for an old vehicle but I suppose you can look at it like you really only paid for the cam install.

Seems like a good buy. Dont know what to think about the random blue painted bits placed strategically around the car. Looks a bit wierd to me, but the rest looks sweet

me being a spray painter fibreglass is the enemy. not only would i get rid of the bars, id break them off with a 2lb sledge hammer so that no one else has to deal wit the agony they bring... stock bars in vn grey OHHHHH YEAAAAAA!

oh yea and fix that ricer stuff in blue on the inside... it ties in with nothing, looks like a fly in milk

and a big no to the wing. no all over that...

I like the car overall not bad for the price, ditch the pedals they are unroadworthy, pod filter is just sucking hot engine bay air get a cold air intake and it will be a little bit quicker and slightly quieter if noise is a problem enjoy the vn mate!!

build a custom metal airbox around the pod so that it sucks cooler air from outside instead of hot engine air, will save u cash instead of buying K&N,in which case u would then need to get the original airbox to suit

Not bad on the outside but I'd get rid of that wing in favour of something much more subtle & lower it. I'd get rid of anything blue under the bonnet, red hi-temp paint is your friend. The air filter is not helping you as mentioned above so I'd do a cold air intake or go back to the stock one. Also detail & dress that engine bay. The blue inside has to go, honestly that looks nasty. Those Supercheap metal pedal covers are dangerous, wait until your shoelaces get caught on the screws going through them & you can't get your foot onto the pedal when your trying to stop, been there done that. Spend the $$ & get proper all metal pedals or just remove those stupid clamp on things. A decent steering wheel would make a huge difference to, I'm partial to woodgrain myself. Slap a dash mat in there to.

Thank you for the suggestions, will get straight to it. And yes the mod plate is for the seats. Any idea's on the best thing i could do with the intake besides buying a k&n CAI ?

The pod!! Well keep it, but the key word is (relocate).... Leave the flexy that's on the throttlebody, get 100mm Polly pipe, (from ur local bunnings)... Cut a hole to the same size as pipe where the old air box used to be... Then get a few elbows for the Polly pipe, run it from flexy at the throttlebody along where they normally mount, (adding mount so that u can't get defect)... Then put an elbow in so it bends to the hole that u have cut, now you can either continue an run more pipe so that your pod is pokin out ya bar, or u can do as i Did, and just below the hole u cut where u will have 2 inches of Polly pipe pokin down, put ya pod on there... Reason 1) cold air straight from front of car... Reason 2) makes a nice suckin noise.... Lol.. I had this on a vp... Just remember to put a stocking over your pod, to help keep out road grime...

And as for your exhaust:... Extractors you already have, gut the cat, get a 3" pipe welded in there, and a stainless steel 1 peice exhaust from the cat back.... Makes a nice note wen ya drivin quietly, but abreal loud grumble wen ya stand on it....

Diff: Mini spool is the best option... But you can weld it up just for a feel of wat a locker is gonna be like... Not advised to do with your everyday diff, as on e u pull out a crown wheel, the pinion gear loses it's pre-load.. Then u will have alot of play in your tailsharft.... Get a second hand diff, pull off the plate, and use a mig to weld the holes where you can see the sun gears.... Mad fun if done without pullin out crown wheel, cause not only do u lose pre-load, after a month or 2 you will strip the teeth of either the pinion gear, or the crown wheel...

All above is learnt from past experiences, have fun...

no ac, poor girl had her guts pulled out, woulda been cheap to fix if it wasn't working but i think hychill is illegal in qld.... but nice looking car except for the obvious out of place things that have been previously mentioned, as for gutting the cat it's illegal, if that's something you really want to do get a hiflow cat but chances are it'll put you over the legal noise limit with that exhaust.

Seems a lot for a VN but it has some mods which would have cost more than that I guess, so why not.

    Nice and clean, good pickup.

Get rid of the blue, get rid of the wing, put a cold air box around that pod, stick a level 3 dash in it and get rid of those silly pillar gauges. Leave it at that IMO.

If you really want a spoiler get a VS clubby one to match the kit, the big wing you have is just overboard... IMO... but bottom line, its your car, do what you like to it, no-one else should matter

Mate for starters if u want 2 tidy up the car dont listen to this idiot, u wouldnt even make it out of ur driveway.

The pod mod is a stupid idea and the cops wouldnt notice the (nice) sucking noise
I am sure the young guy would love the 10k EPA fine for the gutted cat
Yea good idea weld the diff so he can end up against a gumtree, another car or power pole and his parents would love the cops knocking on there door 2 let them know the bad news.

In my opinion mate strip it back and make it a nice clean car, scrap the blue, pedals, and all that. you will get alot more for it later and u wont be drawing attention to urself
