small problem

So last night i was driving home, my speedo starts acting weird and then stops working all together, I thought no big deal easy fix, Then on my way to work this moring my engine light flickers on and off, every time i would push my clutch in stopping at the traffic lights the engine would drop its rev to almost stall but doesn't.

So when i got to work i lifted the bonnet and first this i notice sitting on my manifold is fricken mice or rat sh*t.

So im thinking i have mice nibbling away at my electronics, Has anyone on here had this problem and what did you do to get rid of the crittters.

Also from the symptoms my engine is having (speedo stopped working, almost stalls when pulling up to a stop, engine light flickering on and off) Where would i begin looking to repair.

Please give me your thoughts all help much appreciated.

don't have an air box running a pod filter,

Found my problem anyway, Was the speed sensor, wire was just hanging off it......And have cable tied some baits in my engine bay, should get rid of them.
