Question

Hi this afternoon while driving back from the shops sitting at the intersection on idle the car decides to stall for no reason. Driving home from Redcliffe driving along casually, it nearly goes to stall and then the engine warning light comes on. Make it home and done a test and no faults came up. It is a Vp Series 2 manual and i have no idea why it is doing this. Any help much appreciated.

I just did a fault code thing and it came up as 12 which is no problem or faults,, so i damned if i know.

id be checking the earth wire my wagon was doing this just had a loose earth

check the small fined box bolted to the passenger side in the engine bay, there fail alot and cause the car to stall and then it wont re-start straight away. I just can't remember what it's callled

Nope not that, just went to move it and the bloody thing stalled on me. Done a test, still came up 12. Don't really know what is going on with it?

Someone suggested it may be my CAS but i am not getting any codes for this? Any other suggestions, much appreciated.

they r only on v8s

is it a v6 or v8 try tps under trottle body

it doesn't say what engine he's got in the first post, so I assumed an Aero would be an 8
