vn calais rear door window switches

hi all

I got a qurestion bout my rear door window switches in which case are not working but the rear switches on the master panel work but the rear ones on the doors dont work.
i have pressed the childlock switch numerours times but that doesnt seem to do anithing maybe its broken i dunno?
ani thoughts/ideas would be really hepfull

you could try resoldering the connections on the switches. might have dried out if that doesnt work get other ones

hmm could be your power window module under the steering wheel

my power window module fine all the switch es in the front work but the switches on the back doors do not move the windows maybe its the childlock is stuck on or sumfing????

are they plugged in?

do they light up?

is it both rear windows?

Check pin 1 on the rear switches to see if power is there. If not both switches are fed from the same point on the front switches, maybe as you say its the child lock button.

yeah both rear door switches dont light up and have tested the pins and get no power so must be the childlock ??? if so how would i go about fixing/ditching/bypassing the childlock

When you remove the drivers side master switch you will see a red wire going to the pin for the child lock underneath. In order to bypass you need to bridge a wire from the red/yellow > red wire. That will fix it
