Check the little things first, like the fuses in the engine bay and even the fuse panel under the steering wheel. Id then double check that its getting spark by inserts a screw driver into a lead and having it a couple of mm from a bolt on the car and then starting the car while looking for the spark to ark out onto the bolt. If that's fine then it could be a fuel pump. You can usually hear it prime up as you turn the key, and then it cuts out.
So by turning the car on and off quickly you will hear it. If you cant hear that double check the pump by undoing the fuel feed line to your injector rail and turn the key to see if any fuel is coming out.
And to confirm its a dodgy fuel pump, you might be able to get it going again for a minute by hitting the fuel tank with a rubber mallet or your fist, this will jolt the pump and have it send fuel.
Try all the above first and get back to me, I'll give you some more tips as you eliminate things one by one.
