Was the throttle body cleaned?
Nah i havent cleaned the throttle body, but i will now when i get cabbhage, what is the brand to get? and the TPS u think? can it be due to a alloy pipe and a pod flter? i hav heard some things like pods can effect....things lol IDK w i jus wanna covmy basisthanks for replying guys
I think that the pod fliter in the motor bay will just suck the hot air thats in the bay..I went to bursons and got the TPC and it was about 25 bucks i think and just pick up a can of carb/throttle cleaner about 12 bucks and take the throttle body off and give it a good clean with the spray and wipe out and new TBC can go in and bolt back up and even get a new gasket or if the old is good just use some selant to seal it up..
The rediculas pod was not my idea i brought it like this i want a stock system so i dont get defected, maybe with a K&N and a larger snorkel, and ok ill look a a TPC from a parts shop tomorrow thankyou, while im at it clean and re-gasket the throttle body! There is one more thing, can anyone point me in the direction of a simple answer to these questions, for a supercharger what model engine should i buy for my VP, eg: VN-VT and will it need a rebuild to have enough power to keep up poace with the 8's? any help would be appriciated thanks![]()
Honestly I'd be looking at fixing any problems; and then checking everything. It seems like your engine bay needs to have things re-assessed and rectified!
Boosting an engine with problems already present is only a recipe for disaster.
