Default Buick series 1 to 2 changes, please help!

    hey,

Im currently rebuilding my VN series 1 V6 before i put it in my VK so far everything looks fine apart from the water pump harmonic balencer, timing cover and crank angle sensor, but today i picked up a VR motor for $50 that has got a snapped con rod i just wanted to know if the timing cover, harmonic balencer, crankangle sensor and water pump will fit my series 1 motor as i know there are a few different things for series 1 to 2. also what other updated parts do you think would be worth transfering over? any help would be great.

The VR auto motors have a cam angle sensor so there will be a hole in the timing cover.

Dont worry i found out from the guy at repco today that the timiing cover will fit just fine and to just leave the cam angle sensor inthe but unplugged, i am all so using the VR heads, intake manifold and trottle body.
