    Default Auto sump plug

Thought someone might be semi interested in this. I have no idea why there wasn't one in the first place, makes regular changes much easier than pulling a cooler line and pumping it out or pulling the whole pan.

Couldn't get a new gasket anywhere here today and the old one was paper thin and split so went with gasket poo, didn't do the filter cause I might change that later when I know the trans has all the old fluid washed out plus my plug doesn't leak etc. Old fluid smelled burned, doesn't look fresh either. I'd say last couple owners passed over maintenance so they could afford pod filters and subwoofers instead.

PS, the random weld in the one pic was me testing before I drilled the hole, didn't want to have a hole and no way to fix it. It had also been "repaired" with a pop rivet at some point as well.

I've considered doing this also, I can't understand why they don't have one just to make it easier, because it is almost impossible not to make a mess when removing the pan, especially without a hoist.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.

Would make things a lot easier that's for sure. All 3 of my v6's are bout due for an auto service. I'm not looking forward to it.
