    Default Hi-tech heater hoses

Gunna bung some new heater hoses in Rory the white Vee-Pee one of these days. Is there anything better than the humble black rubber hose nowadays? Not that they are bad or anything, in fact I reckon they might be way better than they were decades ago, but with all the spacey materials that exist nowadays, is there any type of hose that is significantly better?

You can get coloured silicone ones if you want. The rubber ones will last years and years and years with proper coolant changes.
