VP shock issue

Hay guys my G/F just got a pair of rear Munroe GT gas shocks from her dad, they come out of a 96 VS commodore, these have no part number on them and i dont no how to tell if the car they come out was an IRS or LIVE axle, he got them from a friend How can i tell? and will they be ok for a lowered VP since the GT gas?

How low is the car?

! way to tell is to compare it to the ones that are already on the car, if they are similar then should be all good, also depends on how low the car is to begin with as well

I looked and it seems like there Fatter in my car, also in the top it look as thought there sar sensors in em??

And its not lowered but it will be, sprints said some shocks can take both lowered and non lowered rides, and at most ill dump it SL but im more keen on FE2

what you would be best to do is post the pics of them or if no seek professional advice from someone that you can show first hand

So i rang a pro and he told me the deal with the IRS & LIVE so the shocks match up, took me like 30mins to replace, that "sensor" was hollow like they were pump shocks? wierd anyone no what that might be for? oh and these shocks look as tho they been in there since 93 lol cant believe the difference
