2 problems with VN
got 2 problems with my vn v8 first is when engine is cold it starts strait away but when engine is hot it cranks but sounds like the battery is flat even through the battery is new cant work it out the second problem is when fuel tank is full engine will rev and drive great but when it gets to half it has a feul starvation problem like its running out of fuel when revving any would be great thanks.
just an idea but my old vq would do the same with starting,when cold was fine but after driving it,it would act like the battery was going flat/was hard to start. turned out the solenoid in the starter was buggered.
put a new one in and was all good after that.
Harry, start with the basics.
Start with your Starter motor; and work your way around from there.. With the fuel problem; check your Fuel Pump, lines, filter and pressure regulator.
