HI mate pod filters are not RWC and do nothing on a stock engine.Put a factory cold air intake of a supercharged V6,thats if yours is a v6,and run a k&n hi flow filter.A pod filter sitting in you engine bay just sucks hot air.The colder the air the better.$55 will get a second hand cold air intake.

Get rid of the pod and either go back to stock air box or get a cold air intake..

The only way a pod is beneficial is when it's enclosed, like the MACE cold air intakes. Otherwise it'll just being making noise, looking gay and sucking in hot air. Enclose it, or get a supercharged 6 cai and high flow filter.

run a pipe from the intake to the inside of your car, and place it in front of an airconditioning vent. When you put the aircon on it will make your car go faster and it will be really loud when you hit vtec.....

Stock air intake would be better then the pod filter.
    Get a K&N panel filter.
Pods just looks like a big dick sucking warm air as mentioned above.

Panel filter 100%. On a V8 or a V6 the panel filter with a CAI will be the best. Improving the flow through the CAI and airbox will only improve throttle responsiveness.
If you like the Pod filters more than the panel filter then stick with what suits your perception.
Have a look at this: CAI vs stock airbox w/performance filter
