hello there guys. Just wondering if anybody could lend me a hand on this subject. I'd like to do something with the exhaust on my vp v6. I want it to stay at a very VERY similar decibel rating than stock, but produce a more deeper, gruntier sound, that will eminate ever so slightly inside the cabin. I sound like a wanker, i know.. But I'm very particular about sound. Go figure. I just spent two and a bit thousand on a sound system. Haha. Shed some light if you can? Thanks! Dan.
Tips have sfa to do with note.
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
take out a res and put a coby in its place
VS V8 Manual ... Reppn it for NZ
my question is, you spent $2500 on a stereo who gives a shit about the exhaust?
Exhaust tip, depending on the design, will make a difference to the sound but it will be ever so small that it will be hard to tell. Best bet would be a cat-back in 2.25" with a resonator on the back section. Might be a bigger change in sound than you wanted but there's not a lot in-between.
thanks flak. Perhaps it would be best left as is i guess. I'll talk to an exhaust bloke about it in more detail. Cheers though. And to clear up any misunderstanding- i meant tips as in, help..![]()
