VN SS Cruise control

Does anyone know of any common problems with VN cruise control? The light on the dash switch comes on when you turn it on, but the set buttons dont seem to work. Thought it might be easier to diagnose if I had an idea where it might be..

sometimes the switch on the brake pedal goes and needs replacement, might start there... i havent gotten around to fixing mine yet either...

Cheers mate, will check it out. I am in the process of sorting out a few funny electrical problems with this car, the speedo was playing up, and after looking into it, the power supply is related to the reverse light power circuit, checked the fuse and sure enough gone. Replaced the fuse, and Voila... speedo working properly. Hopefully this is something just as simple.

Is the CC switch an entirely seperate unit to just the brake light switch?

yes its an entirely different switch mounted just next to the brake light switch, easily replaceable with the switches from vn-vs they are all the same. u might find it just needs adjusting
