I wouldnt see a problem, obviously its not the exact same specs in size as the original but it should fit, might need some persuation, maybe a firewall clearance or side wall issue, best way to check is drop the car onto the engine and see what hits, use blutac on the engine,if pieces stick to the body you know thats where you will have a problem.

you wont legally be able to do it as it wont meet emissions for that year car, ecotecs are cheap enough these days that you will pick one up dirt cheap and do it properly...

Thats my understanding of the law. Check your local regs before going ahead or you could just be wasting your time

I would personally try and find an Ecotec with all Loom and ECU, hook it all up, and off ya go.

I honestly think there is no point in fitting a VN V6 into a VS. If it was a VR Stato, no problem.

    Woz.

if you have all the vn wiring and comp then it's a simple conversion but you will have to sacrifice the electronics like climate control and power windows so your way better off hunting down a eco and doing it properly
